Principal
Dear CVE Families,
As we begin the 24-25 school year, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for the many opportunities that lie ahead for our students, staff, and families. I hope this letter finds you well and that you had a wonderful summer break filled with relaxation and quality time with loved ones. The start of the school year brings new opportunities, fresh beginnings, and a chance to learn new things. Plus, there's something special about the crisp air and the changing leaves that makes the season exciting.
At CVE, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated team of educators have been working diligently to prepare for the new school year, and we are eager to welcome our students back to the classroom.
This year, we are focusing on improving our school attendance rate for all students. Our theme at CVE for the year is, “Everyday Matters” because school attendance is the number one factor for student success. We believe that by working together—students, families, and staff—we can achieve great things and help every child reach their full potential.
Communication between school and home is essential to a successful school year. I encourage you to stay informed and involved by communicating with your child’s teacher through Class Dojo, email, or by calling the school at (541) 396-2914. Please feel free to reach out to me or any member of our staff if you have questions, concerns, or ideas to share.
I look forward to seeing our hallways filled with energy and enthusiasm as our students embark on another year of learning and growth. Together, let's make this school year one of our best yet!
Thank you for your continued support of CVE. Here's to a fantastic year ahead!
Warm regards,
Principal, Coquille Valley Elementary
